Information Collected and Why including Mailing Lists

As part of the coaching arrangement I collect personal information and this is called “data processing”. This is your name, email address and telephone number. You will be notified if I collect your mailing address. You are not legally obliged to provide this but I need the information listed for us to communicate.

I use that information for a few reasons:

to communicate with you about sessions, upcoming events, newsletters, special offers, training and to tell you about stuff that I think you may find interesting from our conversations;

to contact you if I need to obtain or provide additional information or exercises to support your development or the sessions;

to retain professional records (my coaching log) for the International Coach Federation as evidence of my coaching;

from time to time, I may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. I may contact you by email or phone or text. I may use the information to customise my website (s) according to information gathered but this will always be anonymous;

to check my records are right;

to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. 

 

My records for the ICF will be retained indefinitely as they are evidence of my work for professional purposes. Your details for the purposes mentioned will be retained until you withdraw your consent to receive such communications.

 

I may also collect information for, or from, training or workshop sessions to record feedback, interest and attendance.

 

I do not rent or sell email lists or any personal data with other organisations and businesses.

 

I use third-party providers, GoogleForms and MailChimp, to deliver the newsletter, forms and surveys. I only gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve the e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of the emails or by emailing me direct. I would hope you will stay with me but if you choose to unsubscribe and it doesn’t appear to have registered, I would recommend you email me directly as I will rectify it as soon as I become aware and am practically available to deal.

Cookies: How I use cookies

 

Cookies help me to analyse data about website traffic and this enables me to improve the website for my clients. A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on a computer's hard drive. I only use this information for statistical analysis purposes.

I do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. I do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting the websites.

Your data is stored in my email contacts, in my phone and on a spreadsheet as a log of my coaching history. You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that I hold.
